My go-to kid friendly recipe for the holidays

Growing up in my grandmother's and mother's kitchens, one recipe stood out as the ultimate kid-friendly treat: the humble chocolate chip cookie. Its simplicity and promise of a delicious outcome always brought joy to our home. Even now, the memory of that freshly baked aroma fills me with a sense of nostalgia.

Straight from the Loaded Mamas handwritten cookbook—splattered with butter and dusted with cocoa—comes my BEST chocolate chip cookie recipe ever! No fancy ingredients or lengthy chilling times required. Just a simple, straightforward, and delicious cookie that comes out perfectly every single time.

My own tamariki proudly take charge of baking these cookies during school holidays, and I have no doubt that you'll enjoy them just as much. Be sure to tag me online if you make them this holidays!
